Migrate from Botmaker to ChatSales

Export your contacts from Botmaker

1. Search “export contacts” in Botmaker's help center or ask their support for the export.

We couldn't confirm the exact steps in their public documentation. Their article on the Contacts section doesn't mention an export function.

Export your chat history

1. In the Dashboards section, filter by period, groups, agents and channels.
2. Click “Download by agent” or “Download by conversation”.

Export your deals / pipeline

1. Set up a funnel report.
2. Click “Download” to generate the file.

Free up your WhatsApp number

1. On the official API, ask your new provider to start Meta's phone-number migration.
2. Or delete or disconnect the number from the API before connecting it elsewhere.
3. If you connected by QR/WhatsApp Web, log out of that linked device.

General rule: official API numbers move to a new provider through Meta's phone-number migration between providers, or by deleting or disconnecting the number; QR/WhatsApp Web tools only need you to log out. Approved templates belong to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA): if Botmaker owns the WABA, you may need to recreate them. Cancel Botmaker without losing data

1. Before cancelling, export your contacts, chats and pipeline with the steps above.
2. Ask Botmaker's support to cancel your subscription.

We couldn't find cancellation steps or a data-retention period in their public documentation.
