Migrate from respond.io to ChatSales

Export your contacts from respond.io

1. Go to “Workspace Settings > Data Export”.
2. Select “Contacts” as the data type.
3. Wait for the notification that the file is ready.
4. Download it from the “Data Export History” table.

2. Optionally set a date range.

Free up your WhatsApp number

1. On the official API, ask your new provider to start Meta's phone-number migration.
2. Or delete or disconnect the number from the API before connecting it elsewhere.
3. If you connected by QR/WhatsApp Web, log out of that linked device.

General rule: official API numbers move to a new provider through Meta's phone-number migration between providers, or by deleting or disconnecting the number; QR/WhatsApp Web tools only need you to log out. Approved templates belong to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA): if respond.io owns the WABA, you may need to recreate them. Cancel respond.io without losing data

1. Before cancelling, export your contacts, chats and pipeline with the steps above.
2. Ask respond.io's support to cancel your subscription.
