Migrate from AiSensy to ChatSales

Export your contacts from AiSensy

1. Open the “Contacts” page.
2. Open the “Actions” dropdown beside the “Import” button.
3. Click “Export”.

Format: CSV, with name, mobile number, tags, source, last active, created at, state, first message tag and custom attributes. Chat history export isn't documented publicly: save important conversations before cancelling.

Free up your WhatsApp number

1. In Meta Business Manager, open Business Settings and choose “WhatsApp Accounts”.
2. Go to “Settings”, scroll down and click “WhatsApp Manager”.
3. Click “Account Tools” and choose “Phone Numbers”.
4. Click the trash icon to remove the number from the API.
5. Wait a few minutes, then log in to WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business with that number.

Per AiSensy, you permanently lose data stored in the API account (messages, contacts and more); you can later re-create an API account with the same number. General rule: official API numbers move to a new provider through Meta's phone-number migration between providers, or by deleting or disconnecting the number; QR/WhatsApp Web tools only need you to log out. Approved templates belong to your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA): if AiSensy owns the WABA, you may need to recreate them. Cancel AiSensy without losing data

1. Before cancelling, export your contacts, chats and pipeline with the steps above.
2. Go to “Manage” and click “Billings & Usage”.
3. Scroll down and click “Cancel Plan”.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no refund for the remaining period except in special circumstances; requests go to support@aisensy.com. Import everything into ChatSales

1. Create your ChatSales account.
2. Import your contacts from the CSV or Excel file, keeping your tags as labels.
3. Recreate your sales pipeline stages.
4. Connect your WhatsApp number via the official API or coexistence.
5. Turn on the AI assistant and give it your business information.
