Charge with Mercado Pago from any chat
You type the item and the amount, and ChatSales creates a Mercado Pago payment link on your own account and sends it in that chat. When the payment is approved it tells the customer; if they chose OXXO or a transfer, it reminds them before it expires.

How it works
- In the chat, click ＋ and choose "Cobrar con Mercado Pago".
- Type the item and the amount: ChatSales creates the Checkout Pro link on your Mercado Pago account and sends it.
- When Mercado Pago approves the payment, the customer gets "payment received" (you can switch it off).
- If they chose OXXO or a transfer, ChatSales reminds them before it expires, checking Mercado Pago first.

🔐 Mercado Pago has no read-only keys: the Access Token gives full access to your account. We store it encrypted and only use it to create links and check payments. If you renew it in Mercado Pago (Renovar), the old one stops working and ChatSales loses access.
Set up in 3 steps
- Turn on Mercado Pago in the ChatSales App Store.
- Paste your Mercado Pago production Access Token (Mexico accounts). You'll see "Connected as …".
- Choose which messages go out and start charging from your chats.

Recommended: a WhatsApp API number in ChatSales (Connect your WhatsApp). With it, messages go out as approved templates and arrive even after 24 h. Without it, they only go out within 24 h of the customer's last message.

Does it message people who pay in my store or on Mercado Libre?
No. It only works with links created from a ChatSales chat: Mercado Pago doesn't reliably give us those buyers' WhatsApp.
Can it charge, refund or move money?
No: it only creates payment links and reads payment status.
What access does ChatSales get?
