What is the WhatsApp messaging limit for a new business?
A new business portfolio can message 250 unique people per 24 hours outside the customer service window. Replies to customers who messaged you don't count toward it. All numbers in the portfolio share the same limit.
How do I go from 250 to 2,000?
Meta accepts any of three paths: verify your business, have your solution partner verify it, or send 2,000 delivered messages outside the window to unique numbers within 30 days using high-quality templates. Meta then reviews quality and, if approved, raises the limit to 2,000 immediately.
How do I reach 10,000 or unlimited?
Meta raises you one level automatically when your messages stay high quality across all numbers and templates and, in the last 7 days, you used at least half your current limit. The change takes effect within 6 hours.
