What should my business post on status?
A weekly mix: new arrivals, behind the scenes, customer reviews, polls, a time-limited promo, a useful tip and low stock. End each one by asking for a reply.

How to post and choose who sees it
- Go to the Updates tab and tap the camera or pencil icon.
- Take a photo, a video or write text and post it.
- In Status privacy choose My contacts, My contacts except… or Only share with….
- Privacy changes don't affect statuses you've already posted.
Status is posted from the phone: linked devices can't post it.
Status archive and ads
In WhatsApp Business, statuses are archived automatically after 24 hours and kept on your device for up to 30 days (if the feature is available to you). From that archive you can create an ad: choose up to 10 images or one video. We cover it in ads that open WhatsApp.

Can I post status from WhatsApp Web?
Posting status isn't available on linked devices.
If I delete a status before it expires, is it archived?
No. If you delete it before it expires, that status isn't saved to the archive.
How many statuses should I post a day?
1 to 3 is usually enough to stay top of mind without tiring people.
