Meta raises WhatsApp rates in Mexico (+30% marketing) and Peru (+50% utility) from October 1, 2026
From October 1, 2026 Meta charges US$0.0397 for each marketing template to a Mexican number, up from US$0.0305 (+30%). In Peru, utility and authentication templates go from US$0.02 to US$0.03 (+50%), and replies are billed at that same rate. Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and the US keep their rates.

US$0.0397 per delivered message from October 1, 2026, up from US$0.0305. Sending 10,000 marketing templates goes from US$305.00 to US$397.00: US$92.00 more for every send of that size. Utility templates and replies in Mexico stay at US$0.0085.
What changed in Peru?
The utility and authentication rate rises from US$0.02 to US$0.03. Since replies inside the 24-hour window are billed at the utility rate from October 1, each reply in Peru also costs US$0.03. 10,000 utility messages go from US$200.00 to US$300.00.
Do rates change in other Latin American countries?
According to the rate card Meta published for October 1, 2026, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and North America keep their rates. What does change everywhere is that replies inside the 24-hour window are now billed.
